Membership Renewal
- Current active member of ARDMS and/or the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) or international equivalent of registration
- Eligible for employment as a Diagnostic Medical/General Sonographer, Registered Vascular Sonographer/Technologist shall have the privileges and responsibilities granted by SADMS. All active members have the right to vote and hold office.
- All Active Members must maintain the continuing education requirements required by the registry bodies.
Student Member
- A Student Member is a person who is enrolled in a recognized full time training program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon successful completion of training, Student Members shall notify the Registrar of the Association and may at that time apply for Active or Associate Membership.
- Student members are not entitled to vote or hold office but they can serve on a committee and vote on said committee.
Applications MUST include:
- A completed application form
- A cheque or money order for the full amount with appropriate administration fee for new members and annual fees for all) - payable to SADMS.
- A copy of your current valid ARDMS/CARDUP card or the international equivalency
- Students must include a letter of attendance at a recognized ultrasound training centre.

- Your information will be stored on the SAMDS database which is stored on a secure server. This information provided on any forms collected by the SADMS is for the sole purpose of the creation of mailing lists, conference notices, newsletters and notifications.
